Museum of the great machines of Leonardo da Vinci
The new permanent museum in Via dei Servi 66/68r (street that connects Piazza Duomo with Piazza della SS. Annunziata) contains the most beautiful and largest machines in the world drawn by Leonardo da Vinci code. They were built by the WMA, starting from the careful study of Leonardo's drawings, has created machines in perfect working like never before. Machines except for absolute interpretation, size, beauty and construction systems are: the machines of the flight, the hydraulic saw, the alzacolonna, the printing machine etc..
The museum exhibited the tank of Leonardo, the largest in existence (5.30 xm m 3) and weighing 2 tons. Four people posed to the control levers can easily move it. The show is interactive and, therefore, is also a wonderful tool for teaching the work of schools. The WMA, along with local institutions and associations of tourist guides in the city has created two cultural pathways called "Leonardo in Florence" and "Places in Tuscany by Leonardo" of which the museum is an important step.
